The Bank safe Online website is run by the Payments Council, the body with responsibility for ensuring that payment services work for all those that use them in the UK. The Payments Council's role is to ensure that UK citizens, businesses and other organisations have access to a broad range of modern and efficient payment methods that meet their needs, and to ensure that they are confident in using them.
